Pink Notebook began as a deeply personal idea, inspired by my own experiences as a third-culture kid who moved and traveled frequently. Growing up, I was always sharing travel ideas and tips with friends, scribbling them down in my trusty pink notebook—a reflection of my favorite color and my love for organizing ideas.
Although I initially went to law school, I quickly realized I was more drawn to building something myself that could make a difference. Pink Notebook was born from that desire to create a platform that simplifies and enhances the travel planning experience. The name itself is a nod to my beginnings, but it also represents a broader vision: 80% of travel decisions are made by women, and while Pink Notebook is for everyone, it’s built with women in mind.
Our journey took a significant step forward when I met my first team member, who brought 30 years of travel industry experience to the table. Together, we crafted our MVP, drawing on our shared passion for travel and technology.
Today, we are incredibly grateful to our first users, who are helping us shape the future of travel with their feedback and enthusiasm. Pink Notebook is more than a platform; it’s a shared journey—a way to turn inspiration into action and bring people closer through the joy of discovering and planning trips.
